Overview

Far Cry 4 is the fourth entry in Ubisoft's popular Far Cry series. Like Far Cry 2, 3, and Blood Dragon before it, Far Cry 4 tells its own unique story with its own unique cast of characters. This time the game play takes place within a jungle of weaponized animals which players will be able to use to help liberate various fortresses.

A unique feature of the PlayStation 4 version is the ability for players to play co-op with other players who don't own the game. The owner of the game will get a select number of "Keys to Kyrat" which when gifted to a friend allows them to play the game unbounded for two hours time. Reportedly, each owner of the game will get 10 of these keys.

Development

Far Cry 4 was announced on May 15th, 2014, complete with its US release for November 18th, 2014. Due to the increased popularity of the series after Far Cry 3, Far Cry 4 continues with its predecessor's more colorful tone and accessible design.

Racism Controversy

The announcement included what was implied to be the boxart for Far Cry 4, which depicted what many assumed to be a white man wearing a pink suit resting his hand on a colored man holding a grenade. The imagery was thusly believed to promote racist overtones -- notably by such video game-focused sites as Kotaku.

Creative director Alex Hutchinson then soon took to Twitter to confirm that the pink suit man is in fact Asian--specifically an invading Chinese crime lord--and is not the player character. It was then eventually confirmed that he is the game's villain, Pagan Min.

Ubisoft has announced Far Cry 4, which will release on November 18 in North America and November 20 in Europe for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.

Far Cry 4 is set in the Kyrat, a fictional Himalayan region ruled by “a despotic self-appointed king,” confirming an earlier rumor. Whether or not Drive composer Cliff Martinez is involved remains to be seen.

Executive producer Dan Hay said Ubisoft Montreal, who is leading development on Far Cry 4, “wanted to take the franchise to the next level and create a game that will surprise and exceed fan expectations.” Ubisoft likely won’t say much until E3 in June, but as usual, Far Cry 4 revolves around weapons, animals, vehicles to allow players to create and tell emergent stories.

 

The next Vaas?

The Montreal studio is collaborating with Ubisofts Toronto, Kiev, and Shanghai studios, as well as Ghost Recon: Future Soldier developer Red Storm on Far Cry 4.

If you pre-order Far Cry 4, you’ll receive a “free upgrade to the Limited Edition which includes Hurk’s Redemption, a series of three action-packed single-player missions featuring the popular character Hurk from Far Cry 3’s DLC. The Limited Edition also includes Hurk’s signature harpoon gun called ‘The Impaler’.”

Cia tai super. Vel open worldinsim tik dabar po kalnus. Wow... Ka dar gali susikt next genai gaus pc versijos kokybe o last genai tikesimes atrodys neblogiau nei atrode. Tada viskas super bus nes tai buvo vienas graziausiu zaidimu aplamai ant senuju konsoliu ever.

Na bus ka veikt tikrai ir senos konsoles atgis ;)

as gal 3 ar 4 kartus jau ji losiau ..siaip pasimi kada po visu kitu zaidimu ..ir pagalvoji ka veike kiti kurejai aplamai  :kid:

reiks pratintis vel prie naujos aplinkos , himalajai vis del to..bei nauju charu , atrodo kad bus spalvoti tokie vel  :)  o tai gerai aisku.

Nors negalima to daryti, bet daug tikiuosi iš šio žaidimo. Turėtų nenuvilti, manau, jei sugebėjo trečią dalį tokią gerą pagaminti. Teisingu keliu juda. :happy:

Ir ko gi cia taip tamsta uzsipuolete? Nesu as mazvaikis. Tiesiog yra lengvas ziaurumas ir yra kiek stipresnis. Butent ta stipresni as ir pamaciau.

O ar blogai ar gerai tai sprendziame kiekvienas pagal save. Tik kituose salyse tokius dalykus cenzuruoja ir tiek.

Whatever the fuck jūs čia šnekat. Žiaurumas kaip žiaurumas. Nieko aš čia baisaus nemačiau.Vienam perdaug, kitas butthurtas. End of story. Iš tokio gameplay nieko daug nepasakysi, tik turbūt main villain vėl bus psycho kaip ir FC3.
