Savior is an action-adventure platformer featuring an open world, parkour traversal, and precision melee combat. The developers are promising "a rich world full of quests, colorful characters, and countless secrets."

The protagonist, Sam, has a variety of traversal moves to navigate through the world and to avoid enemy attacks. The combat system is designed to get enemies to position themselves on either side of Sam. When cornered by two attackers, the game will coordinate their attacks so the player can escape the encounter unscathed.
