Darksiders, vienas 2010 metų hitų, parodė, kad nusipelno tęsinio ,leidėjais THQ atskleidė šią savaitę, kad Darksiders 2 bus išleista 2012 metais.

 

Tai dar negreit, bet žinoma ,kad tai pakankamas laiko tarpas padaryti tinkamą tęsinį, o ne "kopiją su tuo pačiu varikliu", kai daugelis žymių francižių kūrėjai tą ir daro.

 

Jokia kita informacija nebuvo atskleista nei istorijos , nei platformų, bet kiekvienas, kas baigė pirmąjį žaidimą turės teisingą vaizdą apie tai, kas ketina atsitikti.

Darksiders 2 Pushed Back

THQ confirmed it has pushed back Darksiders 2 to the publisher's 2013 fiscal year, which begins on April 1, 2012. The game was previously slated to ship in THQ's 2012 fiscal year (April 2011 through March 31, 2012).

 

"We want to release a key title in each quarter over the next two and a half years," a THQ spokesperson said in a statement given to IGN. "We have moved UFC Undisputed to Q4 of fiscal year 2012. That was the original target for Darksiders 2. Therefore, we decided to move Darksiders 2 to early fiscal year 2013."

 

Darksiders 2 will likely join THQ's other major action title in 2012, Devil's Third, which is scheduled to ship in the first quarter of that year.

Sony's PlayStation 3 has been described as a "pain in the ass" to make games for by a developer of an upcoming triple-A multi-format video game - nearly five years after its launch.

 

Marvin Donald, game director at Darksiders II developer Vigil, told Eurogamer the studio is forced to do "wacky stuff" on Sony's console.

 

"It's a pain in the ass to work on," he said. "Five years later, getting used to it? That means it's a pain in the ass.

 

"I'm not an engineer, but I hear about it all the time. We have to do wacky stuff with the way we manage memory."

 

During the PS3's early life it was dogged by shoddy ports of multi-platform games.

 

At the time some developers complained about the complexity of the hardware, and suggested it would take time to wrap their heads around the systems under the hood.

 

In 2009 then Sony Computer Entertainment chairman Kaz Hirai claimed the PlayStation 3 was intentionally difficult to program for in order to ensure that the console met its promised ten year life cycle.

 

"It's hard to program for, and a lot of people see the negatives of it, but if you flip that around, it means the hardware has a lot more to offer," Hirai explained.

 

"We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so then the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine-and-a-half years?"

 

Donald explained that the cause of Vigil's PS3 headache has to do with the memory management.

 

"Even as an artist, it's like, OK, my textures are too big, I'm in trouble because I checked in something that's making the 360 crash because it's a 20x48 when it really should just be a 10x24, or even smaller.

 

"But on the PlayStation 3, the assets go into different categories, and if one of those categories becomes too bloated it'll crash the system. It's a little bit more sensitive on the PS3 in that regard. There are some things you just can't do, or you have to do differently. Yeah, it's a pain."

Pirk (už 60LT) tikrai geras hack n slashas, su neblogu open worldu, antra dalis žada but dar labiau patobulinta ypač tuo kad galėsi savo veikėjui levelį kelt ir bus skill trees, atributai,lootas ir t.t :thumbsup4:

Man asmeniškai Darksiders grafinis stilius ir veikėjai kažkiek primena World of Warcraft ;)

Darksiders II Teaser Looks Death Right in the Eyes

Just to remind the gaming populous that Darksiders II is still very much on the horizon, THQ released a new CG teaser trailer for Darksiders II at the VGAs over the weekend, depicting the face of Death up close, with blood dripping from his death-dealing scythes.

 

In case you've forgotten, Darksiders II sees Death fighting to clear the name of his fellow horseman of the Apocalypse, War, who is on trial for prematurely kickstarting the end of the world. The story will run parallel to that of the first game, which had you playing as War and getting blamed for starting the Apocalypse.

 

Check out the new teaser to remember why Darksiders II is worth getting excited about, and prepare for Death when the game launches in summer 2012.
