Train Jam is a collection of developers traveling via Amtrak train to the Game Developers Conference creating games during the ~52 hours it takes to arrive in San Francisco from Chicago.
There are 5 ticket types available for purchase for Train Jam's 2019 event.
All prices are per person, and each bedroom sleeps two people. We will work with all attendees to ensure that everyone is comfortable with their roommate.
Individual coach class ($200USD): These tickets include one seat in the coach class section of the train.
SuperlinerRoomette Bedroom ($490USD): This ticket includes one spacein a Superliner Roomette Bedroom. These rooms have two beds, fit two adults, and include meals in the restaurant car, as well as access to showers and other such pleasurable amenities.
Family Bedroom ($575USD): This ticket includes one space in a Family Bedroom. These roomshave two beds, fit two adults, and include meals in the restaurant car, as well as access to showers and other such pleasurable amenities. Theseare much more spacious than the Superliner Roomettes, so you’ll have a bit more wiggle room!
Deluxe Bedroom ($750USD): This ticket includes one space in a Deluxe Bedroom. These rooms have two beds, fit two adults, and include meals in the restaurant car, as well as an in-room shower and bathroom!
Accessible Bedroom (Please inquire for options) These rooms fit two adults and include meals in the restaurant car, as well as an in-room wheelchair accessible shower and toilet. There is ample space in the room to fit a wheelchair. Together with The AbleGamers Charity, we have been able to cover the costs of the accessible rooms during Train Jam. For information onreserving one of these rooms, please reach out to us at info@trainjam.com.
All tickets include all sponsor provided jam amenities including a pre-jam breakfast, snacks, coffee, and the opportunity to showcase your jam game at GDC. These tickets do not include a ticket to GDC.

GAMEXPO is San Antonio’s premier gaming convention. GaMexpo will be providing San Antonio with all forms of gaming such as roleplaying, board games, card games, miniatures and video games. The convention was founded by Vince and Colleen Guzman who have their own independent gaming companies in San Antonio, they have attended and volunteered at numerous conventions throughout San Antonio, and they produce andhost the San Antonio You Tube show Geek Out SA. They are joined in this endeavor by volunteers who have worked diligently to help build up the gaming community in the San Antonio area.

The Big Frederick Gaming Convention (or BFGcon for short) is an annual geeky convention in Frederick, MD that includes Board Games, Magic the Gathering, Tabletop RPGs, Miniature War Gaming, Entertainment, Panels and much much more.
This is the area’s only full-fledged con where all types of gamers are welcomed, tournaments and events take place, and where we create a full experience for the attendees instead of just an open space for gaming. In our first year, we chatted with somefriends and explaining what we wanted, one remarked: “Oh, you want to bring GenCon to Frederick!”. Yes, that probably sums it up fairly well.
We were amazed (and thrilled) that we got over 450 attendees at our 1st BFGcon in 2018, so we are already working hard on 2019, and have booked three times the amount of space we had last year to make it possible!
