DreamHackhas become a whole gaming lifestyle festival but its roots are in the Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) Local Area Network (LAN). It’s your chance to play against friends, strangers, and compete for prizes in a hall filledwith gamers. This isn’t your usual hang-out-for-the-day event, you can stay through the whole weekend.

Since its inaugural event in 2014, PixelPop Festivalhas asserted its identity as a small but impactful game festival, and has grown to accommodate attendees of many backgrounds, disciplines, and creative styles. PixelPop Festival’s mission is to encourage and empower attendees from all experience levels to develop new skills, explore different methods, and cultivate relationships with other creators and enthusiasts.
PixelPop Festival creates a safe,approachable space for all attendees, exposing players and creators to asupportive, inclusive, and creative culture that celebrates a wide array of games. In order to continue the festival’s momentum and push to encourage diversity and accessibility in both game creation and appreciation, programs at PixelPop Festival will encourage attendees to think progressively, have confidence, and push themselves to create games they can be proud of.

PAX Online is the result of the convention-organizing supergroup made up of the people responsible for PAX West, PAX Australia, as well as our new friends at EGX to create our new PAX Onlineand deliver a steady 24/7 stream of content, events, discussions, and gameplay.
You can expect to see many of the things you often find at PAX in-person - an all-star selection of indie titles, tournaments, panels, game demos, and game announcements and reveals. Obviously, a lotof the community stuff that makes PAX incredible each year can't be emulated online, but we'll see what happens!
