A month long festival celebrating the wide reaching influence Japan has had on computing and gaming - from the consoles of Nintendo, Sony and Sega to the computers of Fujitsu, Epson and MSX - and not forgetting the games of Capcom, Taito and Bandai.
Event lineups will be finalised soon, so please keep checking back, but events will include:
24th May: Rhythm Games - To get us in the mood, we'll start with a night of rhythm and music games with a Japanese theme - from Donkey Konga to Samba de Amigo (and many more!)
25th May: Retro Festival Japan - A chance to see the wide range of Japanese machines in our collection and from other collectors.
14th June: Retro Games Night - Japan! - All the best Japanese computers, consoles and games.
On normal museum opening days throughout the festival, we will have extra Japanese systems on display.

The Norwich Games Festival is a free, family-friendly celebration of video games, brought to you by The Forum Trust. Explore the latest išleidimo datas, classic retro games, coding and game technology.
Norwich Games Festival started life as Retro Arcade in 2012, as a way of offering something free, interactive and unique to young people and families during the Easter holidays.
The event proved popular, and from this, and working with colleagues at NorwichUniversity of the Arts (NUA), and the University of East Anglia (UEA) the event was broadened to encourage local independent game developers to showcase their games and skills, and to offer an insight into the game development industry to the public.
The Festival has grown year on year, with the addition of retail, a more structured platform for independent developers and the gaming industry, and plenty of talks and workshops for visitors to learn more about gaming, programming and also the study and career development options available.

COMPUTEX, co-organized by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and Taipei Computer Association(TCA), held a closing day press conferencetoday. The organizers announced as of 12:00 noon on June 3, 41,378 international visitors from 167 countries attended the show, a 1% increase from last year. Countries with the highest visitor growth include Thailand (30.63%), Indonesia (22.52%), India (20.86%), Vietnam (20.44%), and Russia (14.81%). During the show, TAITRA organized 955 sessions of 1-on-1 procurement meetings to directly link 181 VIP buyers with 297 exhibitors. This clearly indicates COMPUTEX stands as the international procurement platform attracting buyers to invest and further leads the world ICT industry to build global technology ecosystems. In addition, InnoVEX, in a short 3-day period, attracted 14,977 visits to InnoVEX, an increase of 36% from last year.

Denver Comic Con (DCC) is a 3-day, family-friendly pop culture fan extravaganza, featuring the best in pop culture entertainment. Video games have progressed from simple black and white pixelated play to immersive epics that rival any blockbuster movie. But how did this happen?
During this special museum tour, our in-house gaming expertswill guide you through the history of video games from the seventies to the modern day.
The tour lasts around 30 minutes and provides an opportunity to discuss and even argue the merits and weaknesses of your favourite consoles and games!
The tour is free (although museum entry charges apply - £9 for adults, £6 for children, £7 for concessions and students, and £26 for a family ticket of two adults and two children). Museum staff will be on hand after the tour to locate specific games that you want to play from our archive of over 9000 games.
The tour starts at 2:00pm. Booking is not required but will ensure your place on the tour.
Tea, coffee and snacks will be available from our Pac Lunch Shop.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
