Resident Evil Remastered Coming to PS3 and PS4 Capcom has announced that Resident Evil will be remastered, and will be released for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in 2015. The game will be available only as a digital download. This remastered version will be based on the 2002 GameCube remake of the original PlayStation version which revolutionized the survival horror genre in my opinion. The game will feature resolutions of 1080p on the PS4 and 720p on the PS3, and will also feature 5.1 surround sound. You will be able to play the game in its original 4:3 aspect ratio, or 16:9 widescreen. PS+ No Longer Required for "Full" DriveClub Version Sony has decided to reverse their policy regarding the upcoming title DriveClub. Previously, PS+ subscribers would be able to play a "lite" version of the game, with the option to upgrade to the full version for a $50 charge. The issue was that you still needed to subscribe to PS+ in order for the game to continue to function. Sony has reversed their decision, and announced via twitter that the full game will no longer require a PS+ subscription. Sony has confirmed a release date of October 7, 2014 for DriveClub.
