MGS Peace Walker demo to be distributed at TGS

Going to Japan for the Tokyo Game Show this month? Then make sure you take your PSP with you - Konami will be giving away an exclusive Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker demo at the event.

 

According to Konami's TGS site, the Tokyo Game Show will be the venue to debut the demo - the only requirement being that you have a PSP with you and can stand to wait in what will surely be a mahoosive queue.

 

The game will of course be playable on the show floor, but that's no contest for being able to play it on the bus back to the hotel.

Konami TGS lineup includes five unknown games

Konami recently opened their webpage for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show convention. Among their lineup for the event includes Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Winning Eleven 2010 and Winning Eleven Play Maker 2010.

 

What’s more interesting is that the Japanese publisher will also be showing five additional unknown games. Although some of the “coming soon” titles could end up being Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Metal Gear Solid Rising, there is still room for new games to be announced.

 

The Tokyo Game Show will take place from September 24th until the 27th.

Disgaea Producer to Announce new titles at TGS

The kings of niche RPGs over at Nippon Ichi appear to be plotting game announcements for TGS 2009, inviting press to a buffet lunch on the first day of the show to chat to company president and Disgaea Producer Soheii Niikawa about games the company has in development for 2010 and 2011.

 

With few games from the company currently announced in this time frame, it's safe to say that an announcement regarding these titles will arrive before the media head to the buffet lunch.

Sony line-up TGS2009

If you are going to be in Tokyo later this month, why not stop by the Tokyo Game Show and check out what Sony has to offer. The company has a lot of games available to tryout on both the PlayStation 3 and the PSP.

 

In addition to the games listed below, Sony said it will showcase two unannounced titles for the PS3, three unannounced titles for the PSP, and one for the Game Archives retro download service.

 

Sony will show off all the latest news surrounding the PlayStation Home, the PlayStation Video Store, and the new comic service for the PSP. We can also expect to hear about two additional services that will be announced prior to the show.
