Max Payne 3 pasirodys lapkričio 30-ąją

 

Visai neseniai internetinė parduotuvė Play.com paskelbė, jog Max Payne 3 žaidimas turėtų pasirodyti jau lapkričio 30-ąją dieną.

 

Paklausti, ar tai tikrai tiesa, Play.com atsakė, jog tokią datą jiems pranešė patys žaidimo kūrėjai.

 

Taigi visi pasižymėkite šią datą savo kalendoriuose, nes, kad ir koks pasikeitęs, bet visgi Maxas grįžta pas mus.

Reports of Rockstar Workplace Woes Widen as Source Suggests Another Max Payne 3 Delay

Following allegations of poor working conditions at Red Dead Redemption developer Rockstar San Diego, an anonymous ex-employee of sister studio Rockstar Vancouver has told Joystiq that the Max Payne 3 developer is likewise suffering.

 

"Virtually everything said in the original 'Rockstar wives' letter and by current and former Rockstar San Diego employees in the comments applies to my experience at Rockstar Vancouver," the source explained, specifying "14 - 16 hour work days, six or seven days a week" due to "enforced crunch mode through to the end of the project."

 

 

 

But while Red Dead Redemption's impending April 27 release date points to the possibility of temporary relief for the beleaguered San Diego staff, Max Payne 3 isn't due out until sometime between August and November 2010, at the earliest.

 

Worse yet, the source implies that another delay for the twice-postponed project is likely, explaining: "The game's story just went through another total re-write earlier this month (the third that I am aware of in the past two years) and that [means] the team would have to have all of the content done by April or May to make that August release date."

Max Payne 3 has been delayed yet again.

 

Publisher Take-Two announced during its second quarter results that Max Payne 3 has been moved out of the company's fiscal 2010 year, which ends this October. The game was expected to ship during Take-two's 2010 fiscal fourth quarter.

 

The earliest Max Payne 3 can now ship is November. A Take-Two representative told IGN the publisher has no further announcements about the release date and would not confirm if the game has moved into calendar 2011.

 

The company re-confirmed that L.A. Noire and Sid Meier's Civilization V are still planned for release in its fiscal fourth quarter (August-October). Mafia II will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC on August 24, 2010 in North America and on August 27, 2010 internationally.

Na ka, max payne vel nukeltas i 2011 metus, nors sako, kad atidėlioja dėl žaidimo kokybes, bet man atrodo, kad jie sustojo kurt, dėl antros mafijos dalies, o vėliau tes kurima visu pajėgumu.

Damn! Esu tikrai didelis Maxo fanas, tai tikrai šito laukiu. Paskaičius viskas atrodo gerai, iš screenų ir grafika gera atrodo. Dabar reikia palaukt gameplay video, kad tvirčiau nuomonę susidaryt. Labai laukiamas žaidimas. :)

tai jau jo. ir svarbiausia kad balselis maxo gryzta , ir dabar ne tik kalbes bet darys pilna motion capture, ka dar suderins su Euphoria engine, turetu gautis labai gerai tikrai visi tie coveriai ir slaidingai saudymai. bent jau zada daug visko. o rockstarai per daug niekad nezada. :)

Brazil is 'a fascinating setting' for Max Payne 3 - Rockstar

 

Rockstar's talked up the radical change in setting for Max Payne 3, which moves shop from New York City to Brazil's Sao Paulo.

 

The game's art director told Edge in its latest issue that he finds the setting "fascinating" and promised fans Brazil will allow every stage to be different from the last.

 

"We saw a lot of diverse environments that we could stick [Max Payne] in," Rob Nelson told Edge. "It's a huge city and there's a major disparity between rich and poor. Learning about that, finding out how massive the place is, has been fascinating."

 

The game's development team - which now stretches across Vancouver, Toronto, London and New England - claims it's put the same amount of research into Sao Paulo as original 'Payne developer Remedy did with New York.

 

Several members of the development team travelled to Brazil for weeks of photography and filming, immersing themselves in local society, Rockstar told Edge.

 

"The research is constant, it's anything that we can get our hands on, pretty much all the way through development," said Nelson. "Everyone gets really interested - we're always swapping things we've learned, trying to make sure we're accurately recreating the place. We take it really seriously.

 

"We can't really re-use a lot of assets," sais Nelson. "Every stage is going to be different from the last one. Brazil is a fascinating place to set a game - there are plenty of unique aspects to the setting that we'll reveal over time. We've got a lot to work with."

It seems like the new Max Payne 3 screenshots from last week were a teaser for Edge’s recent issue, in which it takes a look at the Rockstar developed franchise which has been long overdue.

 

According to the mag, Max Payne 3 is now classed as a “Rockstar Studios production,” as not only are the Rockstar Vancouver studio working on it, but they’ve roped in help from various other arms of the Rockstar brand, including their London, Toronto and New England studios.

 

Set 8 years after the events in Max Payne 2, Max Payne 3 sees Max working as a private security contractor in São Paulo, Brazil, who suddenly finds himself in a spot of bother. The events of Max Payne 3 will see Max transform from a fairly sprightly and fully haired contractor into the bald, wreck of a man that we saw in the earlier screens.

 

The emphasis is said to be on set-pieces – more so than any other Rockstar game in fact – and thus, the experience will be strictly linear. Rockstar’s Art Director, Rob Nelson, noted that "you need a lot of custom setups, the environments need to be varied, and all of that while keeping the gameplay fun and responsive" when talking about its linear nature.

 

Edge also notes that the sophisticated nature of the Euphoria engine allows Max to do his signature dive in real-time, whenever and wherever he likes and he’ll react depending on where or how he lands, using a wall to break his impact for instance. It will, of course, be charged by killing enemies as per usual.

 

"We've put a lot of attention on AI reactions, making sure that the force of the bullet feels right," said Nelson. "It adds a level of weight and realism to every character."

 

According to Edge, "As with RDR, the level of graphical detail on offer delivers astonishing action moments - glass smashes, blood spurts, furniture collapses - but here it's fragmented and slowed to show off the fine physical elements."

 

Expect multiplayer - although how that will work, we have no idea - as well as "fully" destructible environments and a new cover system.
