Robotoki's 'Human Element' Revealed

After leaving Infinity Ward to start his own game company Robotoki, former creative strategist Robert Bowling is looking to explore the greatest threat in a zombie apocalypse with his team’s first project: Human Element.

In a new interview with Game Informer, Bowling says the core objective behind Human Element is survival. “Their greatest strength is the fear that zombies instill in us, the survivors, that unreasonable fear. Unreasonable fear that leads us to do unreasonable things to survive," he said.

Human Element ‘s character creation system allows players to choose between three different character classes, Action, Intelligence, and Stealth, and three different identities, Survive Alone, Survive with a Partner, and Survive with a Young Child.

“How you choose to start in the world will determine how you can engage and impacts the scenarios you will be presented with on a physical and morality level.”

Human Element is slated for release on next-generation consoles, PC, mobile, and tablets in 2015.

naujos zinios apie zaidima ,apie iskirtines smartu, tabletu galimybes panaudot gps ,vaiksciot realiam pasauli pagal gps ir to deka zaidime atsiras nauji daiktai ir pan .. :spiderp:

Former Infinity Ward creative strategist Robert Bowling's upcoming multi-platform open-world zombie game The Human Element will allow players to collect resources by exploring the real world.

Portable versions of the game will use GPS tracking to reward players with location-based bonuses, Bowling revealed in an interview with Games Industry International. Players can then share items acquired on the mobile version with its console brethren via cross-platform play.

"Say you're at home, you're playing Human Element, you're out in the world, you get injured. You're hurt and you need medical supplies. You don't want to risk going out to forage in the game world, or maybe you did and can't find anything, but you know that there's a pharmacy four miles down the road in the real world. So you go out and you're out and about in the real world. You open up Human Element on your iPad. We're overlaying the world of Human Element onto the Googlemaps API, FourSquare business API, we're taking your real world and merging it with your game world."

"So now you're checking into places in the real world and you're scavenging in those locations for supplies that are dynamic to those locations. We can do that anywhere there's GPS map data."

Bowling explained that this concept will be used in multiplayer too, where players can share items across different devices.

"Say my girlfriend doesn't want to play the console experience but she wants to play on iPad - she likes that experience. If we have an alliance she can play the resource management game, that scavenging mechanic, and she can be benefiting my game by sharing supplies with my survivors."

The Human Element will be the debut game by Bowling's newly formed studio Robotoki. It's due in 2015 for next gen consoles, PC, mobile and tablets.

suksis ant Cryengine, PC versija zadama 2015 rudeniui

Robotoki Chooses CryEngine for Human Element

Crytek today announced a CryEngine licensing deal with independent game studio, Robotoki, who will use the state-of-the-art development tool to create a new game for PC and consoles.

Based in Los Angeles, Robotoki was founded by Robert Bowling, the former lead of Infinity Ward and Creative Strategist of the Call of Duty franchise. The studio is working on the innovative open-world survival game Human Element, which challenges players to rebuild society in the aftermath 35 years after a zombie apocalypse and adapt as the world evolves based on their actions.

"The ambitious narrative and gameplay of Human Element required an innovative set of features in order to achieve our vision.” remarked Bowling, Robotoki's President and Creative Director. "CryEngine is the perfect fit for us because it delivers so many powerful features straight out of the box such as the physical based shading system and the infinite terrain from segmented worlds to create a massive open world experience but still allow the visual fidelity and detail our players expect from a first person experience from our team."

Carl Jones, Business Development Director at Crytek, welcomed the partnership: "The team at Robotoki have earned countless plaudits in the games industry, and their talent is obvious from the amazing work we've seen them producing with CryEngine already. We look forward to offering them the same high level of support we promise to all CryEngine licensees as they work to turn their ideas into a reality."

Human Element is scheduled for release in late 2015. For more information on the game and Robotoki, visit robotoki.com.

First of all, the trailer was running on the game’s engine however the sequences were all scripted.

Robert also confirmed the game will have aim down sights [ADS] since it’s important for long to mid range combat but there are a lot of tactical and melee weapons as well. He also revealed that the title has greatly changed from the original vision but they are happy with the current direction.

He further revealed that zombies won’t be playable and the game will be all about team work and strategies. The game will be broken into a number of maps, situated across the game’s world.

Human Element  will release in 2015 across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
