On a interview to Crystal Dynamics from German Magazine "Gameplay", developers have shared some information regarding Tomb Raider's gameplay in terms of hunting and surviving, which kind of similar with MGS3: Snake eater where player also have to hunting food in order to survive.

 

- Medkits help you heal, but also have more drastic solutions like leeches, you'll need to eat and drink at certain times during the game to survive by hunting.

 

- Crystal Dynamics want to create a survival simulator.

 

- Injured Lara will have effect on the way of the game plays.

 

- Will have a fast travel option you can travel from camp to camp instantly with place that has been discovered.

 

- Auto-aim system has been replaced by a free-aim system.

 

- Lara will unlocks new skills/equipments and improve abilities during the game will help her reach places which can't be reach earlier.
